How to Prepare
CLOTHING & SHOES
YOUR OWN WARDROBE
You can wear anything you’d like for your shoot and nude is considered an outfit 😉
You can find outfits at reasonable prices on Amazon, La Senza, Victoria’s Secret, Shein, and more luxury pieces at Honey Birdette or Agent Provocateur.
My best piece of advice is to wear things that fit. If you try on anything, and it digs too much on your skin, it might be best to try another style. If you have a large bust, always opt for bras with support (cups/underwire) if you need it.
Pro tip: when you try things on, also check yourself out with proper posture, hunching accentuates/morphs your body when trying on clothing, so stand upright and see how it actually fits as the entire shoot is ALL about posture.
SHOES
IMPORTANT: We have nude, black, white, and red shoes is most sizes. Please make sure you bring your own if you would like more variety. Make sure you clean the bottoms/soles of your shoes thoroughly.

STUDIO WARDROBE
We have various lingerie pieces and gowns available for use. All lingerie is professionally washed after every use which is why we need your selections at least 2-3 weeks before your shoot.

Sizing varies and sits differently on different body types, so you will show us additional pieces as backup for each look. This is specially recommended if you are in need of more chest support, as most of our pieces don’t come with cups built in.

STUDIO SETS
When choosing, think of the mood you’d like to convey. We have created every single set with all body types in mind, so choose what you love!
MAKE-UP
Clients must not wear any make-up to the shoot unless you have an allergy or are planning to do your own makeup. If you wear your own makeup, please let us know and keep in mind we cannot do touch ups as makeup artists prefer to work on a blank canvas they can sculpt.
IMPORTANT NOTE Please go on google/pinterest to find one photo of what you would like for your hair and one photo depicting your desired make-up look. This will be easier to interpret as definitions of “natural” or “dramatic” vary with each person. Please send these to me by email 2 weeks before your shoot date. If you are allergic, please let us know ASAP before your shoot.
HAIR
Please make sure you let the hair stylist/photographer know if you do not want us to use any products on your hair or if you have any allergies.
If you have oily hair, please wash your hair the morning of your shoot, and please DO NOT put product in your hair (unless your hair is very curly and needs product). If you have specific questions, please contact us. You must NOT come to your shoot with wet hair, please air or blow dry before coming into the studio.
AFRO/COARSE/TIGHT CURLS:
We know that ALL curls are different. If you have a specific product routine for your hair, please do it before coming into your shoot. Once you have the texture/curls you are comfortable with, the hair stylist will re-style different looks from your base style. If you do not know how to do your curls, the stylist will do your hair for you, make sure it is clean, hydrated, and not wet before arrival to the studio.
STRAIGHT/WAVY/SHORT/LIGHT/THIN HAIR:
Leave hair natural, and come in with clean, dry hair.
EXTENSIONS/WEAVES/WIGS:
Please put on your extensions/weave/wig before arriving to the shoot.

SKIN + YOGA
(MUST BE DONE A FEW HOURS BEFORE YOUR SHOOT)
You should moisturize your body and face before arriving to your shoot. We suggest you moisturize before leaving your home. Make sure you are getting plenty of water and rest, as this will definitely show in your photos. We cannot photoshop dry hands/elbows/feet.
Pro tip: do a YouTube yoga session the morning of your shoot to ensure you’re limber and stretched out for the amazing poses I’ve curated for you! Our shoot will be a mini workout so it always helps to stretch. This will also help with any anxiety.
GROOMING
(MUST BE DONE 24 HOURS+ BEFORE YOUR SHOOT)
Please make sure your bikini area is groomed to your liking, we cannot photoshop hair removal. Groom your brows and any facial/body hair as you would normally. I don’t recommend trying new ways of hair removal right before your shoot as you don’t know what reactions your skin will have, stick with trusted methods if you’ve done them in the past. Make sure you have no chipped nail polish on your hands and feet. We cannot photoshop nail polish.
TANNING
If you’d like to get a spray tan, we cannot shoot with you on any linens/fabric as all spray tans rub off (even if they claim they don’t — it’s been tested several times). Replacing linens is costly. If it’s the first time doing a spray tan, I highly recommend you try it out way before your shoot so you can see what shade you like.
Please note we cannot photoshop tan lines completely, we can even them out a bit depending on how light they are so please try to avoid harsh tanning before your shoot.
SAME DAY IMAGE VIEWING
After the photoshoot, we will take a lunch break (usually 30-60 minutes), you are welcome to leave the premises. You will then return to the studio for your 1 hour Private Image Reveal & Ordering Appointment to view your images and select which ones you would like to purchase. Yes, this happens the same day as your photo shoot! You will also have the opportunity to add on any additional products to your purchase at this time.
This is the one and only time we will meet to see your images and order, any images not purchased are deleted permanently. Once this process is complete, we wrap up for the day. No photos will be sent to your email other than the final ones selected during your in person viewing.
The final edited photos will be retouched for light, colour, ambiance, slight body contouring/smoothing, skin blemish and/or strategic cellulite/shadow removal, and overall finishing touches.
