The thought of a boudoir session can be scary. When talking to women about their session, I get asked all kinds of questions. So I wanted to compile a list of my 12 most frequently asked boudoir questions to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir session with me.
1. Do you share my images?

Our number 1 priority is making sure our clients are comfortable, especially with boudoir. It can be a life-changing experience, but that also makes it nerve-wracking! Sometimes, you are learning how to love your body, and you aren't quite ready to share the images with the world. Or sometimes, these photos are specifically for your spouse and aren't for anyone else's eyes. These are all great reasons for not sharing your photos, and it all depends on your personal preferences! If there are photos that I would like to share, I will ask your permission within the agreement you sign before we do your shoot and only share what you are comfortable with!
2. Do I have to wear lingerie?
There is No Right Way to Boudoir
You definitely don't have to specifically wear lingerie; it depends on your personality! There are a BUNCH of outfit ideas other than lacy little things! Head over to our wardrobe section about choosing outfits to see some more ideas!
3. Do you have payment plans?
Buy Now, Pay Later
We offer a few payment options! There is a booking retainer to book your shoot. We go over everything right after your photo shoot so you dont need to make any decisions before you see your photos. You only pay for the photos you love!
4. Is hair and makeup included?

Hair and makeup are included in all of our boudoir shoots! I think it's really important for you to feel pampered, and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! Our amazing team can help you complete your look, whether that's "I just woke up like this" or full-on glam! You can bring any ideas you want for your makeup, and we can try to use it for inspiration!
5. Do you Photoshop my images?
We Zoom in to 300% so You Don't Have To
I do edit your images for light, exposure, and color balance. We spend 1-2 hours on each photo magnifying it at 300% to remove any visible blue/purple facial or body veins, pimples on any and all body parts, stray hairs, discoloured body parts (armpits etc).
I do not, however, edit anything "out" that is permanent like grey hairs, beatuy marks, tattoos etc. If there are parts of yourself that you are learning to love and aren't thrilled about, that is okay! We are skilled in posing and lighting to make you look your absolute best and bring out your shine! If you truly prefer we remove it, we will, no judgement.
6. Where should I buy outfits?
There are a few places to buy outfits from, and it depends on what you are getting and the style of your shoot! Here is a long list to choose from with different styles and sizing: Victoria's Secret, Amazon.ca, Adoreme, Torrid, La Senza, Aerie, Agent Provocateur. If you are looking for something specific that you can't find, let me know, and I might know where to get it!
7. What type of print products do you have?
We offer a variety of luxury albums, metal prints, and crystal cubes. I absolutely love the feel of picking up a physical album, specially when you're having a bad day and need to be reminded what a BAD ASS you are! It's so surreal to see yourself like that. We will go through the different fabrics during your viewing, so you can customize your book to fit your aesthetic.
8. Do you offer digitals?
Yes! Discounts are unlocked the more digitals you get! They will be sent digitally so you can download them and they are encrypted to maintain privacy.
9. I'm freaking out! How can I calm my nerves?
Nerves are all part of the experience! I always say that it would probably be weird if you WEREN'T nervous. The nervousness in the beginning of your shoot makes your moment of "WOW" seeing your photos for the first time so much better!
10. How many outfits should I bring?
We aim to shoot 5 outfits within the 5 selected sets. I always say to bring more if you can't decide, and I will help you decide during your wardrobe consultation.
11. Should I get to my shoot early?
Nope, no need to be early. We have carefully organize the day so everything flows smoothly from one station to the next. You should always take traffic into account so you are not late.
12. Where is your studio located?
We are located off Highway 400, in Bradford, Ontario. Its about 35 minutes from the GTA.
BONUS 13. I am from out of town, can I fly in to see you?
100%! We have clients flying in from all over for a day with us. We also offer a flight credit* for clients who don't live in Ontario and are flying to see us for their boudoir shoot.
